i had a great stay at red lion bed & breakfast. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the town center but on a quiet road. the staff were really helpful, and i loved the comfortable bed with quality linens. breakfast was fantastic, especially with local meats and a lovely full english.
the room could use a little more cleaning attention.

Breakfast had a lovely spread, particularly impressive for a hotel stay.
Requested parking but found none available on arrival. alternative car park was free but inconvenient. Carpet showed stains and bed linens felt like polyester, leaving doubts about cleanliness of the duvet.

Lively pub atmosphere with local charm
The Red Lion offers a cozy atmosphere, where the friendly staff shared tales of Cardigan's history over an exceptional full English breakfast. A fantastic spot for socializing!
The pub's noise can be a bit overwhelming, especially on weekends. It's best to be prepared if you're sensitive to sound while trying to sleep.

Had a lovely stay, room was fab with a massive bed and a proper nice bathroom. It was just a hop and skip to town! But blimey, the noise from the pub was a bit much late at night, didn't get much shut-eye.

The location of Red Lion stood out, just a few minutes walk to the town center. The room was spacious with an excellent bathroom. A small fridge – a nice touch during the hot weather. The breakfast was a highlight, cooked to order, and absolutely delicious. Staff provided friendly service, particularly a lovely young lady who was attentive and charming. Unfortunately, parking posed a challenge. I was told it would be available but found none on arrival. Although there was a nearby free car park, it was inconvenient. The noise from the pub was another issue. it ended late into the night and affected my sleep. Though I enjoyed the music, the volume at times was too much. the stay had its enjoyable moments mixed with a few inconveniences.
